Preceded in death by his wife 'Kay' and oldest stepson, Tom. He is survived by sons Darrell and Jim, 3 stepsons Joe, Bill, and Steve McCabe. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren (10), great grandchildren (14), and 3 great great grandchildren.
He was a founding member of the Texins Dive Club, associated with Texas Instruments (where he worked for almost 40yrs) and was active in the Club until he medically couldn't scuba dive any longer. He and Kay switched from diving to snow skiing, which he enjoyed immensely.
