Robbie Jo Calhoun, 84, born in Lockney, TX, passed away December 7, 2013. Robbie a graduate of Sunset High School went on to receive her Bachelor’s degree at Southern Methodist University and a Masters at the University of North Texas. It was no doubt that Ms. Calhoun had a passion for teaching; she was an educator for Grand Prairie ISD for many years from which she retired. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Edna Wills, and father, Bob Wills. Those left to cherish her memory: sons, Charles and wife Kathy, Roy, and John and wife Lucy; along with 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A public Visitation for Robbie will take place Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 6-8pm at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 1pm at First United Methodist Church of Grand Prairie, interment to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
