Roland Hector Jimenez

Roland Hector Jimenez, 59, entered into eternal life on July 7, 2013. Memorial Service: 10 AM Thursday at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home 2951 S. Beltline Rd. Grand Prairie, TX. Roland was born March 3, 1954 in Mexico and later became a Naturalized Citizen. He had a creative mind which help develop an incredible talent in painting to bring life to the beauty he saw in everything. He enjoyed doing projects to their house and wanted everything to be just perfect. He was an avid Harley Davidson fan and loved riding his Harley everywhere. He was a Safety Manager at FWT in Fort Worth. He married his Sunshine, Ida, on September 15, 1976 in Balinger and they had three children, Ro, Valerie and Martin. After his children were grown he was blessed with grandchildren Gabriel, Phoebe, Christoph, and Garrett which he was happiest when playing with them. He is preceded in death by his father, Mario Jimenez, nephews Isaac and Abram Jimenez and nieces Andrea and Sonya Curiel. He is survived by His wife of 36 years, Ida Jimenez, sons Roland and Martin Jimenez, daughter Valerie Jimenez, honorary daughter Amy Ford, his mom, Gloria Jimeniz, brothers Mario, Raymond, Danny, and Nessi, sisters Abigail James, Ileana Curiel, Gloria Moreno, and Mary Jimenez, grandchildren Gabe Ford, Phoebe Jimenez, Christoph Jimenez and Garrett Dunkin, and his four-legged companion, Fluff, his Pomeranian.
