Rosario R. Rubio

Rosario was a devoted mother, grandmother, and beloved member of her family. She will always be remembered for the love she gave to those around her and the special place she held in the hearts of her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Saragosa Rubio Sr.; her mother, Juanita Rodriguez; her father, Francisco Rodriguez, both of Mercedes, Texas; her grandson, Bobby Rubio, of Grand Prairie, Texas; and her daughter-in-law, Melissa Rubio, of Arlington, Texas.

Rosario is survived by her five children: Saragosa Rubio Jr. and daughter-in-law Christi Rubio, Sylvia Rubio Estrada, Daniel Rubio, Diana Gutierrez, and Alice Rubio; six grandchildren: LeighAnn Torres, Julian Gutierrez, Joseph Gutierrez and his wife, Maria Gutierrez, Andrea Torres, Saragosa Rubio, and Marcos Rubio; and her great-grandchild, Alani. She is also survived by many brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and other extended family members who loved her dearly.

Throughout her life, Rosario worked at Atlas Match for many years. She also worked in the Texas Rangers suites and later served part-time as a caregiver for GPISD. She was a hardworking woman who dedicated much of her life to caring for and providing for others.

Rosario's greatest legacy will always be the family she loved and the memories she leaves behind. Though she will be deeply missed, her love and memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
