She was born June 1, 1936 in Stephenville, Texas to parents, George Elbert Arnold and Vera Imogene (Smart) Arnold. Ruby worked as an accountant for Continental Insurance, MEPC and Roger Kerbow and Assoc. She was a longtime member of Inglewood Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nelda Naul; and husband, Weldon S. Morris.
Ruby is survived by son, Dean Mattox of Commerce; daughter, Sheila Mattox and partner, Sharon Baldwin of Midlothian; granddaughters, Sydney and McKenzie; brother-in-law, Aron and Uvon Naul; nieces, DeAnn Phillips and husband, Joe and LeAnn Teston and husband, Matt; nephews, Quinton and Aimee Naul, Larry and Wanda Naul, Jimmy and Connie Naul and many close friends.
Visitation: 6 – 8 pm, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie.
Funeral Service: 10 am, Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Inglewood Baptist Church in Grand Prairie.
Burial: Southland Memorial Park in Grand Prairie.
