He loved his family unconditionally and most of all his beloved son, Radar James. Russell ‘s love for his mother was so unbelievably special. Their bond was so strong and there was nothing that she asked of him that he would not do! Their love was simply unmatched!
He was an avid reader. He especially loved history and the study of various versions of the Bible! When the Bible said “Love Thy Neighbor” he took it to heart. He would go above and beyond to help others. Russell was the one person you could always count on.
He was a collector of guns and could often be found at the local gun range. He also loved motorcycles and fast cars. Lastly, he loved to listen to Prince. I believe Prince took him to a higher place. I'm sure Russell is up there filled with purple skies and rain.
I never meant to cause you any sorrow
I never meant to cause you any pain
I only wanted one time to see you laughing
I only wanted to see you
Laughing in the purple rain
Purple rain, purple rain
I only want to see you
Laughing in the purple rain
