Sammie Adeline Jones, age 91, of Mansfield, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, December 17, 2021 at her residence at Matlock Place in Arlington, Texas. Sammie was born September 6, 1930 in Decatur, Texas to Sam Jones and Mona (Bryan) Jones.
She was a welder by trade and she was loved by many.
Sammie was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Pat Keahbone; along with several brothers, sisters and grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Billy Ray Smith of Morgantown, Kentucky, Donna Smith of Bowling Green, Kentucky and Retha Mazac of Mansfield, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; other family and many friends.
A visitation for Sammie will be held Monday, December 27, 2021 at 3:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052.
