Santiago Sanchez Jr.

Santiago Sanchez, 73, passed away on March 24, 2017 in Arlington, TX. Mr. Sanchez was born on April 28, 1943 to Santiago and Guadalupe Sanchez in Harlingen, TX. Santiago met his wife, Oralia, in 1962 and together they had three loving children. He retired from Vought Air Craft after 38 years as an aircraft assembler. Santiago served his country in the United States Army. He was very proud of the United States. He enjoyed hunting, was a faithful Dallas Cowboy fan and loved to dance to Tejano music

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Oralia Sanchez; his three children, Norma ( Jose), Richard (Jenny), and Santiago III; grandchildren, Christian, Spencer, Andrew ,Marcus; great granddaughter, Madison; his sisters, Gloria Rodriguez and Graciela Sanchez.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, Alex R Sanchez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, April 2, 2017, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Beltline Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. Mr. Sanchez’ Funeral Service will be in the Chapel of Bean Massey Burge, Monday, April 3 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Beltline Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
