

Sherry Maples Andrews, 72, formally of Grand Prairie, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 28, 2015. She was born August 15, 1942 in Dallas, TX to Vick T. Maples and Jual Lee Duvall Maples.
Sherry graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1960. She married John W. Andrews in 1961 and they moved to Sherman, Texas in 1968. She was a member of the Sherman Service League, Woodlawn Women’s Golf Association and a local bowling league.
Upon her divorce in 1978 she returned to Grand Prairie. Sherry was a member of First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie and the Grand Prairie High School Alumni Association. She worked for E-Systems and later Tape Produces, where she retired in 2009 and moved to Emory, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Yantis, Texas. Sherry loved to paint, dance, garden and most of all spend time with her grandchildren. Last year she moved to back to Sherman, Texas to be close to her daughters and grandchildren. She attended West Sherman Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents Vick T and Jual Lee Duvall Maples; grandmother Jettie Mae Duvall; aunt Gussie Mae Boyd and her beloved niece Kim Barron Dennis.
She is survived by her daughters Crystal Andrews Fetterolf and her husband Bill, Amber Andrews Carter and her husband Scott; sisters Norma Maples White, Mary Jo Maples Fowler and her husband Weldon, Vicki Maples Nelson and her husband Larry; grandchildren Caitlyn Rolen, Case Rolen, Cash Carter, Charlsee Carter; step-grandchildren Audree Carter, Aaron Carter, Trenton Fetterolf, Chandler Fetterolf, numerous nieces, nephews, close friends including special friend Gene Williamson.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Del Angel Funeral Home (formally Bean Massey Burge) from 2-4pm. Services will be Monday, February 2, 2015 at Del Angel Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth St. Grand Prairie, TX 75050 at 10am. Burial will be at Southland Memorial Park.
