Sherry Davis, 61, was born June 15, 1952 in Gadsden, Alabama to Euell James Smith and Mildred Hill. She went to be with her Lord June 11, 2014. Sherry was a passionate pianist; she often graced her family and friends with her musical gift, a gift that will be missed in her home. Sherry is preceded in death by: her father, Euell James Smith; and brother, Steve Allen Smith. Those left to cherish her memory: husband, Melvin Davis; son, Bryan Andrew Ellis; mother, Mildred Hill Smith; brother, Larry Smith; step-children, Donald Alan Davis, Dustin E. Davis, James Casella, and Betty Davis; amongst numerous other family members. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 10 am at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home.
