Shirley Ann Pratt

Born in Knoxville, TN October 11, 1949, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and loyal friend to many.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Ruby Loyd Ibbotson, father Walter Ibbotson, her Husband Thomas Pratt, and grandson Tyler Pratt.

A retired teacher, she devoted many years to educating the youth in Grand Prairie, TX as well as volunteering in schools after her retirement.

She enjoyed reading, puzzles, playing cards and caring for her family.

She leaves behind her daughter, Tracy Stampley, Son in Law Edward Stampley and son, Christopher Pratt. Grandchildren Garrett Albano, Brendan Stampley, Zachary Pratt, Evy Cowel, Harlie Pratt, Grace Pratt, and great grandson Zane Pratt. She is also survived by her brothers Gary Ibbotson, Robert Ibbotson and sister Cheryl Hart as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, located at 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050, on February 19, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A Celebration of Life will take place at St Michael the Archangel Church, situated at 2910 Corn Valley Rd, Grand Prairie, TX, 75052, on February 20, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm.
