

Stella Mae Pike, 79, of Arlington, Texas, died peacefully in the home of her devoted daughter, Lori and son-in-law Mike on December 30, 2015; born September 9, 1936 in Marfa, TX. Stella is predeceased by her parents, Stewart and Leta Mae Bangeman; one brother, Edward Bangeman and her devoted husband, Robert “Bob” H. Pike.
Stella is survived by her sister Henrietta Crabil and husband Tom of The Villages, Florida and brother Bobby Bangeman and wife Debra of Ozona, TX; daughter Suzanne Holubec and husband Michael of Melvin, TX; Stewart Clay Pike; Lori Ann Haws and husband Mike; Roberta Leah Deere and husband Tommy all of Arlington, TX.; three grandchildren Darci McMeekin, Anthony Pike, Morgan Deere; one great granddaughter Daisy Pike with another expected in May 2016.
Stella was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family. She loved holidays and family get-togethers, any chance to spend time with her family. She would spend hours cooking and preparing for the family. Stella lived life to the fullest.
Stella owned and operated Pike Upholstery for more than 32 years. She was a quilter, crafter, gardener, and avid collector of antiques. Friends were always treated like family. Known for her feisty sense of humor, she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held Monday evening at the Del Angel Funeral Home, Grand Prairie, TX. From 5:00pm to 7:00 pm. A memorial service will be announced at a later date for both Stella and her devoted husband , “Bob”.
