Sue Ann Nudge, age 57, passed away peacefully as she slept at home. She was welcomed into heaven the morning of Saturday, September 5, 2020. Born April 1, 1963 in El Paso, Texas, Sue Ann was a graduate of Eisenhower High School of Lawton, Oklahoma. She married Sans Nudge when she was 23, in August 1986. Sue Ann gave birth to their daughter, Ashley, in 1995. She and Sans were faithfully married for 34 years.

Sue Ann was a servant-hearted, free-spirited woman who was kind to all. Her favorite color was purple. She loved watching hummingbirds fly around the backyard feeder, and cherished her dog, Sophie. One of her greatest pleasures was walking Sophie around the neighborhood and talking with her neighbors. She was a caring wife who loved her daughter and husband immensely. She took great strides to ensure they were happy & had a safe, well-tended home. She and her husband traveled extensively during their marriage, enjoying tropical places like Cancun, St. Martin, and the Bahamas. The ocean shore was one of her favorite places to be. Her radiant smile was even more beautiful in the summer sunlight.

Sue Ann was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys, and father, Tom. Sue Ann is survived by her husband, Sans Nudge, and daughter, Ashley Nudge, her sister Terri Martin, and two brothers, Rick Thomason and Thomas Lee Belcher.

Sue Ann and I worked together for years at Sprint in different work groups. She had the greatest spirit about her, always such a kind demeanor. We chatted through the years about our pups and rescue and all kinds of things. She wasn't afraid to share her thoughts about a topic but she was always kind in her delivery, which made her special in that way. She was one of those folks that no matter what kind of day you were having, when you saw her call, you knew it was going to be uplifting conversation. She and I were born 2 days apart...I never knew that...My thoughts and prayers are with you all, her family and friends and the people she loved, as you navigate these days ahead. My deepest condolences to Sans, Ashley and family. I know your grief is immeasurable. Sue Ann was and always will be a shining star and I will remember her as one of the kindest, nicest, most positive people I've ever been blessed to know. Couldn't heaven wait a little longer?...I will miss her so.

I have great memories of the Nudge Family Annual Halloween celebrations. My Husband and I moved to the neighborhood in 2012 . Sue Ann would always put her special touch on all the food and festivities to make each Halloween year even more fun than the last. The memory of her kindness to all will live in my heart forever. May you rest in peace.
