Deborah - just wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers have been and will continue to be with you and your family at this time of immeasurable loss. The few times I was priviledged to share Suzanne's company, I remember always thinking: "how does she maintain a monopoly on CHEERFULNESS and that 'laughing chuckle' ???"

Suzanne was a cousin I never knew, although I suppose we met a few times when we were children. Her mother and my dad, Guy Strother, were first cousins. My dad was particularly close to her uncle, Tom Billy, growing up. (And my father-in-law was a classmate of his at A & M.) As a retired teacher myself, it sounds as if Suzanne had a productive career, making a difference to many young people. My condolences to the family.

Dana, what fun times we had at Frist Baptist Church. Suzanne was older and we had her to look up to always. I pray that angels wings will surround you and your family as you grieve, but also they will encourage you that she is waiting for us all on the other side. Love you, Dana, Paula

I'm truly going to miss Suzanne. I am so very fortunate to have called her my friend, and being welcomed to family gatherings. While they say that every time a bell rings, an angel gets their wings - I'm thinking Suzanne probably got to ride through the pearly gates in a sleigh festooned with jingle bells.

Joel, and John, so very sorry for your precious loved one's departure from her earthly home. Know that she is surrounded by angels like her now in heaven! John, take comfort knowing she knew how much you cherished her, it was such a testimony to the sanctity of marriage, your devotion to her! Joel, know how proud and delighted in you she must have been!
