Teresa graduated from Mineral Wells High School and married at a young age. She followed love to a military installation in Germany. She traveled to several countries while in Germany. Upon returning to the U.S., Teresa relocated to Irving, close to where her stepfather, Bob Tucker, and mom Shirley, had moved.
Teresa worked for 19 years in sales for LD Brinkman in Dallas, Texas. Following an injury that left her unable to work, Teresa was a loving companion to her mother.
Teresa's favorite activity was cruising with her family. She loved the beach, the islands, the sunshine and all things tropical. She cherished her great nieces, Sydney, Chloe and Claire and always looked forward to their events and celebrating their accomplishments. She was a fierce supporter of her niece Kelly and loved her as her own daughter. Teresa was a loving and helpful daughter and a trusted and treasured little sister. She looked up to her brother-in-law Jim and loved him like the brother he was to her. And she was the best parent ever to Sylvie, her fur-baby of 17 years.
Teresa's health began to fail in the early 2000's. She overcame three significant back surgeries, was a two-time cancer survivor, and overcame a life-threatening super infection. Through it all she kept an amazingly positive attitude and a sunny disposition. Teresa always had a kind word, a smile in her voice or something uplifting to say to everyone she came into contact with. She kept up with her Facebook friends everyday and touched the lives of so many. Teresa loved the Lord and tried to live her life in humility and gratitude.
Teresa is preceded in death by her father, Truman Nunley, and stepfather Robert Tucker.
She is survived by her mother, Shirley Tucker; sister, Vickie Hall and her husband, Jim; niece Kelly Brooke Hall; three grandnieces: Sydney, Chloe and Claire Hall; loving cousins and a host of friends.
