Thomas Edward Duke, 77, of Grand Prairie, passed away of natural causes at his home on December 31, 2014. He is preceded in death by his most loving wife Loreen Margret Duke. Survived by: his daughters, Tracy Ellen Kachur and Alison Nolan; son-in-law, John Michael Kachur; son, Thomas E. Duke Jr.; daughter-in-law, Samantha Duke; grandchildren, Kelsey Elizabeth, Annelise Margaret, and Kayley Ellen of Grand Prairie, Katie, Sean, Fiona and Siobahn of Atlanta, Georgia, Elizabeth Grace Duke and Thomas E. Duke III of Atlanta, Georgia. Thomas was a member in good standing of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Grand Prairie. He was a loving and giving friend to all. Thomas was involved with City of Grand Prairie Fire and Police Associations, Applebees, Texas Roadhouse, and Don Pablos of Grand Prairie. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers and gifts, Tom would have wanted donations in his name to Wounded Warriors of America.
