Prayers and thoughts are with you. I have many fond memories of Tommy at the gate. He always had a smile for everyone he met. Tommy will not soon be forgotten by those whose lives he touched.
God bless his family and many friends.

I was so shocked to hear about Tommy. My heart hurts for you all. I had the most pleasant honor to work and know Tommy all the years I worked at Vought. I've met you once or twice but you probably don't remember me.. He loved you very much and spoke of you daily. We would talk about the lord, our famiies and life in general. I would get him a Don Juan's ice tea everyday. I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the funeral as My step mother passed away the same day as Tommy and the funerals happened to be at 3:00 and 4:00 Sat. I'd love to have met you again. Your in my thoughts and prayers. Contact me sometime if you would like to talk.

Michelle, I am so sorry for this tragic loss; I am still in shock and cannot believe he is gone. I worked with him for quite some time and he was always smiling and had the kindest heart I've ever known. I was blessed to have had a man like Tommy as a friend and as a working "partner". I can only say that the Lord took a very kind and awesome guy. He will be missed greatly. I love you much and holler @ me if you need to. Yours & Tommys Friend, Amy Cisneros

I worked with Tommy at Vought and had many visitors from outside the company. He was the face of Vought and many commented to me what a friendly guy he was. He went out of his way to make them feel welcomed. I am very sorry for your loss but I am blessed to have met and work with such a fine man.

Tommy was one of those good people you meet in life and never forget. He brightened many days by a friendly hello or goodbye at Vought's gates. He will be missed by many. A credit to his family, his death is a loss for all Grand Prairie. Prayers offered for all the Douthitt family. Ray Gene Bush, Grand Prairie.
