Peter Pham Van Tuyen passed away on July 30, 2020, with family by his side in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was 66 years of age. He is survived by his wife Oanh Pham, and his five loving and dedicated children: Long Pham (wife Kheli Sayer), Yen Pham (husband Tony Nguyen), Duy Pham (wife Marylyn Nguyen), Thy Linh Pham (husband Jin Kim) and Phuong Linh Tran. He is also survived by his four siblings: Bong Van Pham (wife Thanh Pham), Nguyen Pham, Tien Pham (Duong Nguyen), and Thang Pham (Wife Tuyet Mai Nguyen) , and his unconditionally loving 12 grandchildren: Ethan Abels, Alexa Sayer, Brooke Sayer, Spencer Sayer, David Luong, Diana Luong, Aidan Nguyen, Troy Nguyen, Ava Nguyen, Dylan Nguyen, Lillie Kim & Emma Kim (plus an expected grandson due in January 2021).
Peter Pham Van Tuyen was born in Hai Duong, Vietnam on the August 27, 1953 to Nguyen Thi Khich & Pham Van Tuong. He completed high school and served in the military for 4 years in Vietnam. Following his military service, he got married and started a family. After the fall of Saigon in 1975, he decided to flee from communism in search of the American Dream and a better life for his family. He escaped by boat with his family and stayed in a Thailand refugee camp until a Baptist church sponsored him to come to the United States of America.The family resettled in Dallas, Texas in 1981. Peter Pham Van Tuyen found a job at Vought and worked there for over 30 years as an Aircraft Assembler. During his career, he was involved in the construction of several aircraft models including the B-2 Spirit (Stealth Bomber). After his retirement from Vought, be became the proud business owner of a laundromat in 2015 which further exemplified his tireless efforts to always support his family.
Peter Pham Van Tuyen was a dedicated Roman Catholic at Saint Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church in Grand Prairie, Texas. He was an active member in the parish and participated in several groups. His favorite hobby was gardening and over the years his green thumb produced pomegranates, fresh vegetables, and beautiful flowers.
Peter Pham Van Tuyen lived a full happy life, and is forever loved, remembered, and cherished by family and friends.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 & Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 South Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX, 75052. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 1:30 p.m. at Saint Joseph Vietnamese Catholic Church, 1902 South Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75051. Burial will follow at 4 pm at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas, TX, 75220.
