Hello,
Verdinell, I first said I will always miss you and I read some of you notes just a while ago and thought about David. I never talked to him after he left to go back to Germany. Judy called me when she found out he died and I never heard anything more.

I am going to try to find out where he was buried but I am expecting to find that he is buried in the graveyard a short distance from where he lived in Mistendorf, Germany.

I hope you found Henry, I learned so many things from the Shriver family...Rest in Peace Verdinell.

I worked at Henrys the summer before I went into the 11th grade...Verdinell was one of the sweetest ladies I ever met. They built a new home just behind my old home place and I helped work in the garden. The world is a poorer place for loosing her......Mark V. Capps, Malakoff, TX.

So saddened by the loss of my dear sweet neighbor of over 54 years. Such a great inspiration to all who knew her. A beautifully wise lady, friend, and mentor that will hold a special place in the depth of my heart.

The world lost an amazing lady, 9-27-17, Judy Erspamer Armstrong's aunt, Verdinell Shriver, 102 years of age. (Aunt of other Grand Prairie-ites, Jane Erspamer Pope, Sandy Erspamer Wimberly, Laurie Erspamer Chessmore , and the late Steve Erspamer).
Verdinell could remember and discuss anything with the best of you.
Always devoted to her (and Henry Shriver's) only child, David, residing in Germany, this mama smiled easily and often, didn't complain, and took great pride in her entire family of siblings, nieces, and nephews.
Everyone of us who knew her feel blessed and will miss her.
