Visitation will be on Friday, August 31, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home in Grand Prairie, Texas. Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Cross Point Church of Christ in Grand Prairie, Texas. Burial will be at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens.
He was born August 31, 1921 in Fairy, Texas. He worked for North American Aviation during World War II. He founded Jackson Vending Supply with his wife Ruthe in 1947. He served as an elder at Burbank Gardens, Turnpike and Cross Point Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Ruthe; two daughters, Xanna Young and Jorja Clemson; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and many other relatives.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to Cross Point Church of Christ Building Fund.
