Wendy was my only sister in law, I remember many things about her but most importantly how fiercely protective she was of those she loved, especially her baby brother. The first time I met her she told me I better never break his heart and I was scared to ever do that after that talk haha. I really loved the sweet protective love she had for him.

We had many fun times together, house parties at our first house, family holidays, double dates, a trip to DC. But My favorite memory was when we went to Tim McGraw. She bought us tickets and she screamed at him the whole time how much she loved him. She made me laugh so hard. She was one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. We were even on a commercial in the parking lot - it was our 6 seconds of fame and we watched it 1000 times.

When she loved she loved hard! She was a beautiful lady with a good heart. Our family will Miss you forever Wendy, you were and are loved. Justin and I will lean on the sweet and fun memories of you forever and as we promised you we will share those memories forever with your children. Till we meet again.
Love always, Heather

Wendy and I grew up together, and although we wern't technically related I have always considered her family. She was like the big sister I never had. To this day, I attribute my love of horror movies to her! I remember the first horror movie she introduced me to was The Legend of Boggy Creek. From that day on I was hooked!

She was so much fun and had a zest for life that others only dreamt of. Her laughter, humor and infectious smile always stayed with me and made me want to smile. We went on a trip to Las Vegas with both our families and Wendy was the best part of that trip for me. She truly had a heart of gold.

Rest in peace sweet friend. You will always live on in my memory and heart. You will be dearly missed. I know that Sis is taking care of you in heaven right now, though. Love always, Rachel Bridges

Life just got a little less joyful without you here pretty girl. We shared the same sense of humor (as did your brother Justin) & there was never a dull moment, especially if both of our mouths were moving! You will be missed terribly , but by the grace of God, have been made whole again, and will suffer no more. My prayers of peace & comfort go out to all who knew you during this time & the beautiful soul you were.❤️

So many memories of my sweet cousin Wendy gone but not forgotten. Walking to the candy store from Sissy’s house climbing trees and collecting locust shells, swinging on the front porch swing and eating the honeysuckle flowers off honeysuckle bushes. RIP sweet girl . All my love to our family who were lucky enough to have had you for the short time we did.

Too many stories to share. Half of my heart went with you. I will keep our memories close to my heart. A little spot reserved for Wendy only. You are responsible for giving me the confidence I have today. Our 32 years of friendship was a gift. You meant the world to me. Life will be a little dull without your laughter. You gave us all so much to smile about. My sweet friend.. You can rest now. I love you.
