His hobbies included bass and crappie fishing, this included the fish fries with family and friends. He also enjoyed woodworking in his garage or on the back patio. William was an avid hunter of deer and elk in Texas and Colorado. He would relax watching western movies on TV.
William is survived by his wife, Linda Jean Owings; children, Keith Owings and wife, Kristi, Daphne Owings, Stacey Umbaugh and husband, Brian, Bo Owings and wife, Melissa; grandchildren, Keifer, Ashley, Casey, Rachel, Carter, Danny, Jamie and Cody; great grandchildren, Alice, Kaylee, Seth, Jaxon, Danielle, Ethan, Lou Anne and Jesse.
