Alan J. Constant, aged 78 of Grand Rapids Michigan, and Sandy Pines, went to be with his Lord and wife Carolyn of 55 years on August 12, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn and his sons Gary A. and Brian S., his parents and his brothers Norm and Glenn. Surviving are his daughters, Julie Marshall, Susan Silva, and Karen (David) Dudek. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Alan proudly served his country in the Army National Guard for over 9 years. Please join the family for visitation on Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 6-8pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 15, 2014, at 11am at Reyers North Valley Chapel, with Rev. Ric Fritz officiating. An additional visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment to take place at Rosedale Memorial Park.
