Barbara Eleanor Denny

Barbara Eleanor Denny, aged 84 of Grand Rapids, MI went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2015. Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Adelbert and Pearl Tickner, her beloved husband Bert Denny, her son Tom Lacy, sister Edna Yakes, brother Bill Tickner, the father of her children Robert O. Lacy, and her previous husband Clarence James Star. She is survived by her loving children Robert Lacy and wife Peggy of Wyoming, MI, Terry Lacy of Grand Rapids, MI, Sandie Star and husband Jim of Coweta, OK, Kathy Koss and husband Ted of Mesa, AZ, 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Barbara is also survived by her brother Charles Tickner and wife Carmen of Johnstown, OH, sister Virginia Hughes and husband Jim of Wyoming, MI, and sister Doris Sutliffe of Grand Rapids, MI. Barbara loved to travel and saw much of the country. She enjoyed crocheting and was an avid collector of Precious Moments. Friends will be received on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 5-8pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Friday, May 22, 2015 at 11am at the funeral home, with an additional hour visitation from 10-11am prior to the service.
