

Barbara M. Kline of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior and was reunited with her beloved husband of 49 years, Lester, on Sunday, January 24, 2016 with family by her side. She was born in the late summer of 1919 in Rolfe, West Virginia to Steven and Barbara Sipos who along with her husband preceded her in death. Barbara grew up in Muskegon Hts., MI and on Maple Grove Dairy Farm in Sullivan, MI. During WWII, she worked in a munitions factory in Muskegon. Soon after, Barbara and Les moved to Grand Rapids where they built their home and raised their two daughters. Barbara will be remembered as a caring and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother by her 2 daughters Barbara (Chester) Christie and Kateri (David) Johnson as well as her 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She and Les were dedicated members of Saint Jude Catholic Church. They were also committed and caring parents and enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Saint Jude Catholic Church (1120 4 Mile Rd NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525) with Rev. Thomas Page officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family will be available to greet guests for one hour prior to the service.
