Bette Jane Posthumus, aged 85, passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, April 30, 2015. She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Russell Peter Posthumus; her 4 children William Joseph (Pat) Cobb, James Michael (Terry) Cobb, Jeffrey David (Linda) Cobb, Nancy Lynn Cobb; her 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Bette is also survived by Russell's children Ann Igaz and Mark (Deb) Posthumus. She enjoyed the casinos, playing cards, and putting together puzzles. Bette also was a passionate volunteer with the Gilda's Club. Please join the family for a time of visitation on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 12 noon to 1pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel, with the funeral service beginning at 1pm. Interment at Fairplains Cemetery immediately following the funeral. Please consider a memorial contribution in Bette's memory to Heartland Hospice.
