Betty J. Garner aged 85 of Tawas area and formerly of Flint, MI passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph H. Garner Jr. and daughter Susan Moore. Betty will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Gale (Steven Price) Traywick, grandchildren; Leslie (Tim) Silvia, Michael Traywick, brother Jack (Ilene) Pender, sister Joanne Keel, sister-in-law Karen Garner and many nieces and nephews. Betty retired from the Gladys Dillon Elementary School. In keeping with her wishes cremation has taken place and interment will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials can be made to your local public library in Betty’s honor.
