In Bonnie’s eyes, family was everything.
Married to her beloved Steve for more than 61 years, together they raised three children: June (Greg), Ron (Becky), and Dave (Angela). Known affectionately as “Mom” to many people. Bonnie’s gatherings were always open to anyone that family wanted to bring, and they quickly became part of the “family”. Bonnie’s favorite things included meals together, playing games, giving advice, and enjoying the lake. She had a unique sense of humor which will continue to bring laughter to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, children, nine grandchildren—Liz (Kevin), Jaime (Rommel), Nichole, Madeline, Carissa, Caitlin, Daniel, Isabelle, and Andrew—and five great-grandchildren: Donovan, Annabelle, Rory, Orion, and Leonidas.
Bonnie’s life was defined by generosity and connection. She was often the one to initiate gatherings and activities, always putting others first. She and Steve also shared a love for travel, successfully visiting six continents and finding joy in discovering that people everywhere share common hopes, challenges, and happiness.
Bonnie will be deeply missed, but her love, laughter, and legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.
