

Brandon Kenneth Homrich, age 30, of Cedar Springs, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017, surrounded in love by his family. Brandon courageously and tirelessly fought a one year battle with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. He is survived by his loving wife, Danielle; sons, Knoxton and Reiker; parents, Kenneth and Cynthia Homrich; sisters, Sarah Hodges, Heather (Paul) Bernard, and Kristin (Joe) Ludlow; nieces, Hazel and Harper Bernard; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Christopher and Mary Newkirk; brother-in-law, Tyler Newkirk; his grandparents, Kenneth and Helen Homrich and Edward and Harleth Herremans; his long time best friend, Aaron Linsley; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Brandon was preceded in death by his uncle, Steven Homrich. Brandon proudly served six years in the United States Air Force and was employed as an Air Traffic Controller at Gerald R. Ford Intl. Airport. Brandon’s family will greet visitors at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Wednesday, September 20 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Praying of the Rosary beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 4865 11 Mile Rd NE, Rockford on Thursday, September 21 at 11:00 a.m. with an additional one hour visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations for the future education and care of his sons, Knoxton and Reiker made payable to ‘Homrich’s Helping Hands’, Lake Michigan Credit Union (). Brandon’s family would also like to extend their sincere gratitude to all Spectrum Butterworth, Froedtert Hospital Milwaukee, and Illinois OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center staff whom faithfully and compassionately served in his care.
