Brenda Kay Perrien

Brenda Kay Perrien, 70, of Grand Rapids passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2024. She was born in Ionia on October 30, 1953 to Maxine and Charles Perrien, Jr. Brenda graduated from Ionia High School, class of 71.

Brenda worked various clerical jobs over the years. She retired from the U.S. Probation Office after fifteen years of dedicated service.

Brenda’s biggest joys were spending time with her daughter, Lindsey, and spoiling her golden retrievers, Brandon, Jack and Bailey. She loved going to Lake Michigan to the beach, baking, dancing and going on shopping adventures with her sisters, Debe and Jan.

Brenda is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Maxine (Gene) McPherson, father Charles Perrien, Jr., brother Doug Perrien, nephew Jacob Buskirk, Grandparents Amos and Ruth Stanton, Charles Sr. and Virginia Perrien.

Brenda will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lindsey Perrien, siblings, Philip (Mary) Perrien, Deborah (Jim) Morse, Janalee (James) Buskirk, and nieces and nephews.

Per Brenda’s request, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to visit with Brenda’s family on Wednesday, January 24 from 4:00 to 6:30 pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Avenue NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505.
