Carmel Anne Gardner

Loving mother of Traci Gardner and Michael (Amanda) Gardner, grandchildren, Matilda, Ivan and Daniel. Also survived by her sisters; Cecillia, Doni and Theresa.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruby and brothers; Danny, Johnny and Mike.

Carmel Gardner, beloved mother, sister and amazing grandmother. Her passion in life was to help other people, always putting their needs before her own. Her favorite thing was spending time with and spoiling her grandkids. She loved her job as a counselor at Recovery Academy.

When it came to her family especially her children, she gave all she had to make sure they were safe. She was our rock. No matter where she was, she was always there to support us and make us smile. She was a very strong, proud and independent woman.

She loved sunflowers, the ocean, dolphins and sunsets. She always found a reason to smile. She loved to be outside. Endless walks through the woods was her serenity and her way to be close to God.

Carmel was a beautiful soul, taken way too soon. We will always cherish the time we had her here with us, and all of the wonderful memories she created, will never be forgotten. Heaven is lucky to gain this angel.

We know you will forever be watching over us mom. We love you. You did good! Go rest now.

Services to honor Carmel will be held by the Gardner family at a later date.
