

Charlene was born March 18, 1935 in Slagle Township, Wexford County, Michigan to Louis Chandler and Violet Handy. She was one of 13 children. She graduated from Mesick High School and received a diploma in 1953.
Charlene married Loyt Mosey in June 1953 until his death August 1963. Charlene and Loyt had three children, Stephen, Mark, and Cheryl.
Charlene married Neal (Sandy) Lindale Jr, in July 1964 until his death January 2000. Charlene and Neal had two children. Michael and Theresa.
Charlene worked as a school bus driver for Northview Public Schools then a realtor until the death of her father Louis. Charlene took her mother Violet in to her home and cared for her until her death in 1986. Charlene worked as a Dietary Aide for Kent Oaks Psychiatric Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital for 12 years.
Charlene had a passion for sewing, canning, knitting, crocheting, and playing the slots. She loved country music and a good joke. She was fiercely protective of her family whom she loved with all her heart. Her memories, her experiences, all the joys and heartbreaks of her life, live on with her family who will forever love and remember her.
Charlene is survived by her children, Stephen (Dale) Mosey, Mark (Joan, 2022, Kathy) Mosey, Cheryl Gerard, Michael Lindale, Theresa (Brent) Parmeter. Her 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Violet, husbands, Loyt Mosey and Neal Lindale Jr., her brothers Bertrum, Henry, Lloyd, Dale, Gordon, Clifford and sisters Doris, Mildred, Vivian, Edith Mae, Maxine, and Erma, daughter-in law, Joan Mosey.
Funeral services will be held at Reyers North Chapel at 11:00 am on Saturday October 4. Visitation will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 from 6pm-8pm.
