My sympathy to all the families. He worked in the same building when I first went to Grand Rapids, and also delivered my first child. He was a wonderful doctor.

Mary, Jeannie, and Chick, Your dad was a kind and gentle man. I do not know where the "Kissin Cousin" thing came from, but that is always how I thought about him. A hug and a smile and a kiss. So sorry to hear about your loss.

Chuck was a friendly, helpful member of our YMCA Service Club for many, many years. A past president, we couldn't have had a more loyal member. When he was older and could no longer attend, he was made an 'emeritus' member. He loved kids.

I have in my office the beautiful picture that Uncle Chuck took of my family back in the early 70's and I cherish it. I am proud to say that I am named after Uncle Chuck's wife Aunt Kate! They are together once again and they held a special place in my heart. My thoughts and prayers to you all.

I am sorry for your loss. Dr. Aldridge was a very caring man. He was our doctor as a young teenage girls. He held my hand during surgery so I would not be afraid. He showed compassion and skill as a physcian and a human being.
