Charles Bob "Bob" Briggs

Charles Robert Briggs “Bob”, age 74, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 28, 2016 while in company of his boys in his home on Meyers Lake. He was born in the summer of 1942 in Grand Rapids to the late Charles and Mary Briggs. Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Jeanne [Haas] as well as his sister Nancy Limbeck. Bob is survived by his three boys, Jason, Kyle and Mitchell and three grandchildren Nolan, Michaela and Austin Briggs. He and Jeanne were both graduates of Creston High School. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as member of Air National Guard. He was a dedicated employee for 36 years Commercial Equipment Company now known as Michigan Office Solutions. Bob was an active member of Rockford United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Reyers North Valley Chapel with visitation for one hour prior to the service starting at 12 noon. Burial will follow with military honors in Fairplains Cemetery where Bob will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Jeanne.
