Charles is preceded in death by his loving wife Mickey, 6 brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his children, Chuck (Jill) Vidro, Steve (Tami) Vidro, Shelly (Barry Feirick) Vidro, his sister Dolores Wolbrink, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Charles proudly served in the United States Army, he enlisted while attending Catholic Central High School. He served in Korea in 1950 as a medic with the 24th infantry division. He was always a man of humor, accompanied by his wit he always provided a great line. Charles was down to earth and kind. He loved to bake, apple pies and cookies for certain and he especially enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners. He was also very crafty and enjoyed making wood lawn ornaments. Charles will be missed by many.
A visitation for Charles will be held Monday, December 21, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a memorial prayer service at 8:30 PM, at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave N.E., Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505. A burial will occur Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Washington Park Memorial Gardens, 1205 Richmond St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504.

A celebration of life memorial service will take place closer to spring time, check with the family for more information.
