Christine Mullane Emery

Christine graduated from Grand Rapids West Catholic High School in 1987, where she was a stand out softball player, and record holding swimmer. She attended Grand Rapids Community College, majored in photography and was a record holding swimmer. Later, she attended Northern Michigan University on a swimming scholarship and received her degree in fine art and sculpture in 1994. Christine ultimately stayed in Marquette after graduation working in photography and restaurants, most notably the Port Side restaurant, where she was the beloved kitchen manager for many years.

She had a passion for cooking, and music. Her favorite band was the Grateful Dead and saw them in concert fifteen times.

Christine was preceded in death by her father Vern Emery in 2023.

She is survived by her two children, Emery and Griffin Gosdin; mother, Janet Emery; brother, Matt (Linda) Emery; nephews, Matthew Emery Jr and Aidan Emery; and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

According to the family's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family memorial will take place at a later date.
