

Dale C. Parker, 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. He was born in Battle Creek, Michigan. He married Arline Harmon in Madison, New Hampshire 60 years ago. Surviving are his wife Arline, their sons, Dwayne (Pam), Neil (Heidi), Kevin (Laura) Parker, daughter, Sherry (Dave) Mathieu, 16 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren,brother Clare (Beverly) Parker, 3 sisters-in-law, Mildred, Lois, and Barbara, brother-in-law William (Constance) Harmon, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 4 brothers, and 1 grandson.
Dale served in the U.S. Army from 1948-1954. He was a graduate of DeVry Technical Institute in Chicago. He enjoyed playing cards, especially cribbage which inadvertently taught his children math. He thrived on the competition of bowling and golf and liked hunting and fishing. After retiring from Lear Siegler / Smith Industries, he wintered in Arizona where there was no snow on the golf courses. He was tough to beat at closest to the pin.
