So sorry to hear of the loss of Dan.  We are thinking of you all.  In fact today I remembered how Dan said to me when Maddie was 7 years old " Michelle that girl can play ball!" and I was shocked how he knew the direction she would go. All of you are in our prayers.

When I tried to describe to my husband what Danny meant to me, I said he was iconic.  He represented hard work, the older cousin, someone who knew what to do next, and someone you could look up to.

Dan you were always Tinkering with old gadgets, Riding on that old tractor mowing the lawn. You lived to be outside, under that big blue sky. You were happy most any place, It didn't take much. Never a minute was wasted, You found plenty to do.
You said "Life is what you make it" like the Simple things, your garden, your lawn, your tractor, your dog, your kids, neighbors, family and friends, and A piece of meat on the grill. It was worth millions to you!!
That little smirk on your face or wrinkle on your nose, and the wave you gave us as we all drove by, and of these we wish we could see and hear just one more time. Things you said can never be replaced, Some so funny, we had to laugh. We lived to see what you would do next. We had special days and special times, From just a quite moment, to baseball and food on the grill, or a ride on that tractor one last time. You made it all so special each and evey time. You liked to tease, you would not cease, till you got a reaction, and the last word and then you were pleased. That was just you, and we loved it too. What a great man, But now you are gone, there is no more to see or hear. But I will just bet, on a tractor, if we just look around and listen many memories of you can be found !!! You were loved and now missed by many!!!

Darci, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your brother, Dan. I hope that you find comfort in your memories of the loving brother that he was to you.

To my brother, Dan -  He was one of the best brothers that anyone could ever ask for - always caring and loving and very concerned about me.  He always kept in touch with me, especially on the holidays.  He will always be in my heart and prayers.  He was the best of everything and he was truly loved by me.

We were all saddened to hear of Danny's passing, all who love Danny will surly miss him. I think Danny would put it this way"What a Ride". Thanks for the laughs Dan.   Jesse WIlson

We were saddened to learn of Danny's passing.  He was a great friend and co-worker and we will miss him.  Unfortunately, we are in Lakeland, Florida and unable to attend his service.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.
