David D. Hickox

David DeWayne Hickox, age 37, passed away unexpectantly while in the comfort of his home. He will be lovingly remembered by his two cherished sons Tristan and Harrison and their mother Megan Davison. Also surviving are his parents David and Diane “Tuba” Hickox as well as his brother Chad (Stephanie) Hickox and sister Beth (Mike) Dankowski, nieces and nephews Breckon, Nic, Jared, Emilee, Cayla, Austin and Austin’s son Jaxtyn. David’s dear grandmother Esther Snyder also survives. David was a 1998 graduate from Rockford High School and the Hobart School of Welding. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army with the Military Police in both Cuba and Iraq. He was an active member of the American Legion Post #2 in Cedar Springs, MI. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Andrew Cathedral (267 Sheldon Blvd. SE Grand Rapids, MI 49503) Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at 10am followed by Military Honors. Please join the family for visitation at Reyers North Valley Chapel on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 5-8pm with a Rosary reading at 7:30.
