David Simonis, age 60, went to be with his Lord and Saviour on Sunday, March 3, 2013, while surrounded by his loving family. He will be deeply missed by his mother Dawn Simonis; Brothers Phil Simonis and Mark Simonis; Daughter Hilliary Simonis; ex-wife Meg Bess (Colabine); niece Tanya Simonis; great-nephew Brandon Simonis whom he loved like a grandson; and his many loving friends. He is preceded in death by his father Leonard Simonis; and his brother Stephen Simonis. David was employed for many years as a manager with Sbarro’s and was very dedicated to his work. His co-workers loved him for his personality as well as his attitude. Those close to David knew him to be generous to a fault and always helping others. He had a love for nature and would often take walks through the woods. In keeping with his wishes cremation is taking place and no services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for memorial contributions to assist with final expenses.
