Deeka Marie (Kroupa) Tift, age 43 passed away on May 22, 2017. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend and will be missed by many. Deeka was born in the Republic of South Korea and was adopted by James Kroupa and Carolynn Califf. Her mother Carolynn preceded her in death. She will be remembered by her daughter Alexis Kroupa(Glen Stern), father Jim (Brenda) Kroupa, step-father Randy Califf, step-brother Chris (Jesamin) Califf, brother Brandon (Angela) Kroupa, Gaven Tift, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and step- siblings. Deeka loved gardening and to cook for her friends and family. Deeka also enjoyed bowling, golf and Fantasy Football. Deeka treasured her years of service and friendships formed at DeVos Children’s Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Friday May 26, 2017, at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Deeka’s family will greet visitors from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Deeka’s name to Mental Health Foundation of West Michigan (107 Oaks SE Grand Rapids, MI 49503).
