On May 7, 1960, she married Lawrence Bilski and together they raised five boys. Diana worked for many years at Meijer, beginning her work at the store on Michigan and Fuller and retiring from the Plainfield store. Diana was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Parish as well as an active member of the Casino Club of Grand Rapids. She excelled in the kitchen where where she found great joy cooking for family and others. In addition, she loved tending to her garden along with Dad. Occasionally, Diana liked making a trip to the Casino with friends and/or family. She had a passion for Notre Dame football and was always up for a trip to South Bend. Finally, she had a passion for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She looked forward to attending sporting events and school activities they were a part of. Diana cherished her family and always looked forward to spending time with them.
Diana is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Bilski. She is survived by her children, Steven Bilski (Kimberly), Russell Bilski, David Bilski (Vicki), Michael Bilski (Lori) and Brian Bilski; grandchildren, Meghan Smith (Kody), Shelby Mingerink (Scott), Christopher Bilski (Rachel), Corey Bilski (Kat), Rachel Bilski, Sofia Bilski, Matthew Bilski, Nicholas Bilski, and Vincent Bilski; Great-Grandchildren, Brahm Mingerink, Finn Smith, Calum Mingerink, Lucy Smith, Harper Bilski, Lennon Mingerink and Oliver Bilski. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Jo Dombrowski and her brother-in-law Herman Bilski (Regina) and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Avenue N.E., Grand Rapids, Michigan 49505, on September 8, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm.
Visitation will also be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 2275 Diamond Avenue N.E., Grand Rapids, MI 49505, on September 9, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Mass at the same location on September 9, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
