Doris J. Gibson

Doris J. Gibson, aged 87, passed away on February 8, 2015 in the company of her family. Doris was born in 1927 to Delbert and Myrtle Reed who preceded her in death. Along with her parents, Doris was preceded by her sister, Thelma Ten Eyck and cousin Margaret Kimber. Surviving Doris is her husband of 51 years William “Bill” Gibson and their two children Jill (Marie Havenga) and Brian (Jennifer). Also surviving are Doris’s three grandchildren; Jacob, Emily and Lainey as well as many nieces and nephews. Doris will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother with a kind heart and a gentle soul. She would often relax with a puzzle while visiting with her family. After retirement she and Bill enjoyed their home in Spring Lake. A celebration of Doris’s life is scheduled for Wednesday February 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Reyers North Valley Chapel.
