Doris Elizabeth Page

Doris Elizabeth Page (Calkins) aged 94 of Grand Rapids went home to God on Monday, April 18, 2011. She was the daughter of Ezra and Cecilia Calkins. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Clement G. Page, sister, Helen West and brother, George Calkins. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters; Leslie (Ron) Voll, Ann (Richard) DeBoer, Barbara (Dave) Minier, Margie (Kenneth) Bauer, grandchildren; Steve, Mike, Brian Voll, Cathy Voll-Wallis, Elizabeth Kenny, Patricia McGovern, Christine Bauer, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Doris worked as a nurse’s aid at Butterworth Hospital and retired in 1981. She loved to travel, going to Hawaii and on many cruises but always loved to return to Michigan because “all the beautiful trees”. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, April 21, 2011 at St Ann’s Home Chapel 2161 Leonard St NW with Rev Thomas Page as celebrant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at St Ann’s Home.
