Dorothy Garcia

Dorothy J. (Kalinowski-Rosloniec) Garcia, aged 82 of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord Saturday, September 4, 2010 at the Sanctuary at St. Marys. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kristen Rosloniec, and her husband Calixto Garcia. Surviving are her children, Mary Jo and James Mikula, Kristine and Larry Korhonen, Daniel and Joan Rosloniec, David and Cynthia Rosloniec; Her grandchildren, Allison and Mark DeVuyst, Mandy Kinney, Ryan Kinney, Alyssa Korhonen, John Korhonen, Daniel and Melissa Rosloniec, Heather and David Holton, Tricia Rosloniec, Jason Rosloniec; 3 great grandchildren, Catherine DeVuyst, Kaden Meier, Kirby Rosloniec, several nieces and nephews. To honor her wishes, Dorothy has willed herself to Michigan State University in the hopes that others will benefit from her life and death. A celebration of her life will be held 7:00 p.m. Saturday September 11 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel with Rev. Ayub Nasar officiating. Relatives and friends may meet her family one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sanctuary at St. Marys, or to Spectrum Health-Hospice.
