Dorothy “Darline” Kaplanowski, aged 90, went to be with her Lord and “kitty” in heaven on Thursday July 4th, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank in 1986. She is survived by her children; Tom (Nancy) Kaplanowski, Sue (Gene) Kuehle, Theresa (Levi) Morse, grandchildren; Christine (Chris) Smith, Shelly (Pete) Torres, Clifford Morse, Jacob Morse, great-grandchildren; Kylie Torres, Dillon Smith, and Justin Smith. Darline will be remembered for her faith in God, the joy she found in talking with people, and her love of animals. She was a long-time member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Please join her family for visitation on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 6-8pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. One hour of additional visitation at church from 10-11am will be followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11am on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at St. Anthony of Padua Church (2510 Richmond St. NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan 49504). Interment in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions in memory of Darline may be made to Odyssey Hospice.
