Duane Kauffman aged 70 of Comstock Park passed away Monday, August 8, 2011. He was preceded in death by his son Dale Kauffman, Son-in-law Craig Tonagel, brother Dave Kauffman and sister Barbara Criscione. Duane will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years Sharlene, daughters; Yolanda Kauffman, Yvonne (Rick) Jordan, Yvette Kauffman, grandchildren; Shawn, Nick, Mandy, Heather, Nate, Mike, Nicole, brothers and sisters; Roger (Betty) Kauffman, Bob (Rosemary) Kauffman, Leahbelle (Don) Stuart, RuthAnn (Ernie) Newman, Julie Benschooter and many nieces, nephews and friends. Duane was an avid outdoors man who loved to hunt and golf. He loved his Michigan sports teams and knew this was the year for the Tiger, Lions and MSU Spartans. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place, and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those who wish memorials can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
