When he was 8, I worked in his classroom. The school had multiple levels and stairs were not possible for him. So, every day when the students used the stairs with ease, Edward and I would take the elevator together and I promised him a 'selfie' each day we rode the elevator. He would get so excited to ride that elevator because it meant silly and fun photos; something no other student could do. He knew how to love every single moment of life. He knew how to live in the moment, embrace the happiness, and just love life. 

I loved Edward from the time I first met him.  His absolute joy, optimism, & friendly  personality permeated wherever he was.  I remember how much fun it was to have Edward & Hazen play Spiderman in the health office. His life was cut short but he definitely made the world a much  better place in the short time he had with us. I will never forget him.

Edward and I  were the best of buddies. We talked,laughed and shared silly jokes everyday. I will truly miss my buddy of three years. We also shared in a favorite drink of Dr Pepper. We would  talk every minute we had. At recess he would sit in the sun and talk while sipping on a Dr Pepper. On the cold days he would watch a movie on the chrome book. He enjoyed hanging with his friends at Dickinson. I miss you buddy.

I worked At Dickinson School for 4 years where Edward was a student.  He was always happy, fun-loving such an inspiration! He will be greatly missed. Praying for his family.
