Florence E. Regenmorter aged 90, of Grand Rapids quietly passed surrounded by her family on Wednesday, June 29, 2011. She was born and raised in Fairfield, Iowa. Florence was a lifelong teacher and retired from Grand Rapids Junior College where she taught Public Speaking. She was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Florence loved to travel, read and spend time with her family at their summer cottage. Florence will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 59 years, John Regenmorter, children; Beth and Louis Regenmorter, Jane (David) Knudsen and grandson Quinn Knudsen. A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, July 2 at Trinity United Methodist Church 1100 Lake Drive SE Grand Rapids, MI 49506. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE. In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to John Regenmorter Scholarship Fund at Grand Rapids Community College or Trinity United Methodist Church.
