Gary Raymond Wentzloff, 73, of Grand Rapids Township, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 10th. Gary has left his wife and partner of over 35 years, Tracy; sister, Sandy Polonowski; and nieces and nephew Christine Polonowski, Dawn Polonowski, and Gail Polonowski; sister in law, Perry Cook; and beloved pet, Remi, to mourn his loss.
He was in preceded in death by his beloved parents, Alfred and Erna (Geoffree) Wentzloff, and his father and mother-in-law, Larry and Sue Ogden.
Gary was an excellent master craftsman. He started in construction in his teen years. He was also an avid fisherman, hunter as displayed by his large collection of taxidermy. He and Tracy enjoyed traveling to Africa, Alaska, the Baltic Sea, Tahiti, Mexico, the Caribbean and other exotic places.
A Celebration of life will take place at Gravel Bottom Craft Brewery, 452 Ada Dr SE, Ada, on Monday May 18, 2026, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Please come and share your memories of our one of a kind guy.
